Although QuickBooks is designed for the layman to understand, the initial setup and installation should be done correctly in order for future information to be accurate. While it is possible to fix an incorrect setup performed internally, it can sometimes be more expensive than if our services were used in the first place.

- Load your balances as of that starting date from either your old system, or your most current tax return documentation.
- Define your list of products and/or services that are sold to your customers.
- Add outstanding accounts receivable (customer) and accounts payable (vendor) details as of your starting date
- Update all banking information including prior period bank balances and outstanding transactions, etc., as of your starting date
- Verify correct setup, comparing old system balances or tax return to QuickBooks.
- Enter all transactions from your start date to the present date.
